About me | Nus for Design

Life is made of stages, and how beautiful it is to give them the importance they deserve.

Even with my training as a graphic designer, I knew very clearly that my stage as a professional illustrator would be the one leading me to build the life I want. What I never imagined is that being a tattoo artist would be too.

Both callings have let me rediscover myself and find that style I feel as my own, which comes naturally and which I keep improving every day: micro realism and fine line.

Nature is where I feel most “me”. It connects me with that freedom I have always looked for: freedom to tattoo in different countries, freedom to decide how I want to live, freedom to let out what I carry inside and create illustrations born simply from the beauty around me and from the places I want to visit one day.

Temporary exhibition at H&M, Mallorca

Starting in Spain, I'm from Barcelona, and travelling through places like France, England, Germany, Australia, the United States, the Philippines… I have had the luck and the pleasure of creating stories in ink with tattoos while exhibiting my work as an artist.

Through Nus, I want your memories to leave a visible mark so you can fill your skin and your spaces with beauty, both with tattoos and with prints.

Like that “nus”, that knot, which creates a bond that lasts.

MY TATTOOS, MY STORIES

Some people get tattooed to remember moments, people or experiences, or simply because they love it and what they want engraved on their skin defines them.

I love helping you show your own authenticity, and that is why I want to share the meaning of my tattoos with you, so you get to know more of the parts of me that define me and that have made the artist I am today:

Lavender sprig. After living with my grandparents during their last years, I wanted a tattoo to remember them. My grandmother is lavender. She planted it in front of the house so she could see it every day, and she always gave us little bags of dried lavender to put in the wardrobe. Whenever I see or smell lavender, I think of her.
Olive branch. At my grandparents' house there was a single tree, a big olive tree. Whenever we grandchildren visited, we would compete to see who could climb highest. Always, always, my grandfather won. I remember him perched right at the top shouting: come on, I'm sure you can climb higher!
